About half of the produced pencils is tossed aside.. the stump that is - good pencil stumps made of wood and graphite.

Joining a graphite pencil with a colored, adds an extra purpose to the product.

If this was a fairytale, by our own Hans Christian Andersen, the pencil stumps would fear when its length would reach 8 or 10 cm. Then it would end up in the darkest corner of the drawer and never to be held again.

Made by Lone Ørum - and I'm a pencil nerd - I just take joy in a good pencil.
I always have a notebook at hand, and I needed a pencil that I could use as a normal sketch or note pencil and as a highlighter, of the things I need to get done or take extra notis of, when revisiting the sketch.
I had a great one with a neon yellow highlighter, but I found it hard to see the bright yellow, so I rummaged through the drawers and found A LOT of stumps of colored pencils that would fit perfect for my needs... the rest is history ;-)
As almost always, products are born out of a need.
